Sofie Dossi is a 16-year old self-taught contortionist, hand balancer, and aerialist who gained fame after achieving a coveted spot as a top ten finalist on America’s Got Talent in the summer of 2016.
She began her training after becoming captivated at age 12 watching YouTube videos of contortion. Having been a competitive gymnast and dancer, she had a solid foundation of strength and flexibility and advanced her skills with disciplined practice at home.
Above and beyond her contortion, hand balancing, and aerial talents, Sofie taught herself a unique stunt that captivates and dazzles audiences in every show. She shoots a bow and arrow with her feet – with fire upon request!
In addition to achieving a coveted spot as a finalist on America’s Got Talent , Sofie also has appeared twice on The Ellen Degeneres Show, guest starred on Disney’s Bizaardvark, featured on Disney’s KC Undercover, and starred in Nickelodeon’s All In with Cam Newton.
Sofie has performed at exclusive private events for A-listers within the US and internationally and has also been a big hit as a halftime performer at NBA and college games. She has been noticed and written up by many big names in sports media that include ESPN and Sports Center. Sports Illustrated endowed her with the title of “Halftime Performer of the Year” in January 2017.
She is a strong and engaging influencer and rapidly growing on all social media platforms and is a popular YouTube creator, all together amassing over two million followers.
